This SD7PK features high-quality drum and cymbal pads for professional sound and feel, a sturdy frame and rack clamps with enhanced durability, and a versatile drum module that features a variety of sound and rhythm choices. The pad set includes 1 kick pad, 1 dual-zone snare pad, 3 tom pads, 3 cymbal pads, and 1 hi-hat foot control pedal. The rack is constructed of a sturdy and lightweight aluminum frame for easy setup. The drum module features 300 acoustic and electronic drum and percussion voices; with 20 Factory preset drum kits, 30 user programmable kits, 50 preset songs, stereo line outputs/headphone output, as well as MIDI ports for connection to computer and other MIDI devices. Module

All of these great components couldn't reach their full potential without rich drum and percussion sounds generated from the r.e.d.box drum module (r.e.d. stands for Real Electronic Drums). The r.e.d.box massive 128MB RAM capacity accommodates 1000 High Definition Sounds, 100 High Definition kits, plus space for 100 user-created kits.

One very unique and exciting capability of Pearl's r.e.d.box is the Memory Switch, which gives you the ability to flash the memory and substitute a lush, super high-end drum set for the original acoustics. Vic Firth SIH1 Stereo Isolation Drummers Headphones are designed to protect musicians from the high sound levels associated with their instruments. Prolonged exposure to these excessive levels of noise can have traumatic and lasting effects, including hearing fatigue, tinnitus and permanent hearing loss. These are specially designed headphones, which drastically reduce the level of external sound reaching the musician's ears, offering valuable protection from potential damage.
